Had the breakfast buffet both days we were staying at the Holiday Inn (attached). The restaurant was very accommodating for us with our kids, even when it was busy they opened up a section that otherwise seemed closed off so we could fit. Bonus stars to the kind lady who, when they had seemingly run out of the one cereal my kid wanted, chased us down with one to go after we had left.

Located inside the Holiday Inn, we were greeted quickly. Our server was efficient and friendly. The Bennigan’s menu was spot on. The Montecristo sandwich was perfect. The beer tap menu features Iowa brews that were pretty good.

Thank you for the wonderful supper last night! Our server, Caroline was attentive and very nice! She answered our questions, kept our drinks full. Jason, the manager was awesome! Super friendly, hard working. The restaurant was clean, busy but we felt very private in our booth. There is a firepit outside that we could see from our table! The food was wonderful! It was hot and arrived pretty quickly. The mozzarella cheese sticks are amazing! We had the Monte Cristo and Classic Burger. Both were delicious and generous servings. Lots of fries that were so good and hot. Prices were very good considering how much food we had and the quality! There is parking behind the hotel in a 2 level ramp so we were thankful since the amazing Dubuque Symphony Orchestra had a performance and there were a lot people heading to Five Flags.

Heather, our server, is top notch in all facets of a pleasant dining experience. She is friendly, attentive and did not show any signs of stress even though she was catering to droves of high energy children as well (whatever the occasion was, I am not sure). Thank you Heather.

This truck stop is a hidden gem ! Their staff is excellent. Their facilities are first rate. if you get a chance, you need to stop by and enjoy their friendly service. The food is fantastic. They’re hot deli is excellent not to mention excellent coffee and all the little extras that go with it.
